A Limited Annual Program by Metro Relay

Community Technology Initiative

Helping nonprofit organizations build resilient, secure, and responsible technology that advances their mission.

Metro Relay believes every organization deserves secure, reliable, and well-governed technology.

Through our limited annual Community Technology Initiative, we provide select nonprofit organizations with no-cost professional technology services that strengthen cybersecurity, infrastructure, Microsoft 365, operational resilience, and Responsible AI governance.

Rather than simply solving today’s technology problems, we help organizations build a stronger foundation for the future.

Why This Exists

Technology should strengthen mission — not become another challenge.

Today’s nonprofit organizations depend on technology more than ever before.

They protect sensitive information, coordinate volunteers, manage donors, deliver critical community services, support remote staff, and increasingly rely on artificial intelligence to improve productivity.

Yet many organizations lack the internal resources to modernize infrastructure, strengthen cybersecurity, govern AI responsibly, or develop long-term technology strategies.

Metro Relay created this initiative to help close that gap — donating professional engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and Responsible AI expertise to organizations serving North Texas communities.

Inventory AI usage, identify risks, evaluate data exposure, review AI-enabled workflows, and create an AI adoption roadmap aligned with organizational goals.

Physical Technology Infrastructure

Technology rooms, structured cabling, wireless infrastructure, surveillance, access control integration, UPS review, rack organization, and documentation.

Technology Strategy

Executive technology roadmap, modernization planning, budgeting priorities, lifecycle management, vendor strategy, and long-term planning.

Responsible AI & AI Governance

Responsible AI starts with responsible leadership.

AI adoption is no longer just a technology decision — it is a governance decision.

The organizations that adopt AI well decide, in advance, how it will be used, who approves it, and where human judgment stays in control. Metro Relay helps put that structure in place: AI policies and approvals, human oversight, and the protection of donor, healthcare, and employee information.

We conduct AI risk assessments and AI inventories, evaluate Microsoft Copilot readiness, and stand up AI governance frameworks with clear executive accountability — what separates a responsible AI partner from a traditional IT provider.

Why Metro Relay

An infrastructure, cybersecurity, and Responsible AI partner — not another managed IT provider.

Metro Relay brings enterprise infrastructure experience, healthcare technology depth, and a security-first operating model to every engagement. Our background spans cybersecurity, the Microsoft ecosystem, multi-site environments, compliance, and operational resilience.

We pair that engineering depth with Responsible AI governance and a human-centered approach to technology, led by senior executive technology leadership — the same standard we bring to regulated, mission-critical organizations.

We believe resilient technology enables resilient communities.
